Lisa + Sean - Amanda Lachapelle

I woke up and the sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day for a wedding. Heading out to Jordan I became excited at the idea that a new season is getting underway and how many awesome clients we are going to work with this year. I had met Lisa and Sean in my studio after we had already signed the contract as they weren’t able to come down and meet right away – they chose to go with a shorter amount of coverage to just get the main parts of the day and when we talked about Lisa’s vision of what she wanted I loved her ideas and was excited. Coming out with me to second shoot was a good photographer friend of mine Precious LaPlante and when we arrived we both kept remarking how easy going and helpful Lisa was. Everything was just so easy during the getting ready and then the ceremony was no different. At every point during the day these two were up for anything and we had so much fun. We went down in to the barrel room at Cave Springs and one of my favourite things in the world as a photographer happened – I asked Lisa to lean back into Sean and for them to turn their faces towards each other and – not only did they both move exactly as I wanted them to but the closer they got to each other the better Lisa’s smile got. The soft smile that spread across her face was a simple expression of love that happens when you marry your best friend, it’s the look that crosses your face when you are completely at ease. Thanks again to Lisa and Sean for having us along – your wedding was fun and so easy to be a part of. You two truly set an example for all brides and grooms to have what they want without compromise and without getting lost in expectations and going crazy. Now for the photos!
