I love working with friends – most of my clients end up becoming friends but its nice to work with people who are close already. I’ve known Sylvie since high school – always pretty quiet but not necessarily shy – we share a group of friends. In fact one of her bridesmaids was my maid of honour! Ian was a bit more of an unknown quantity as I hadn’t really had a chance to get to know him as well – after our first meeting I knew it was a good fit to work with the both of them – I think I may have met my match in the sarcasm department! Their day was easy and full of laughter and as always the weather somehow co-operated – we had a down pour all morning and for 5 mins when they left the church but as we set forth into Queenston Heights for photos the sun would break through the trees while at the same time rain that had clung to the trees would drip in the back and it was just beautiful. Thanks to Ian and Sylvie for your patience with me – I was having contractions throughout most of their day and thought for sure that I would be heading straight from their wedding to the hospital. Magically though little Aiden is still hanging in there and has held on for another wedding since and about to head into another one tomorrow. Being a part of their day was awesome and I am so happy for these two!
