I love shooting into sunset and was kind of hoping to reschedule this engagement session as the day looked quite dreary but because of scheduling reasons we decided to go ahead with it no matter what and I am so happy that we made that decision. The light was beautiful and soft and we even got a little bit of sunset but my favourite photos are from right at the end. As the sun set the fog rolled in so the photos right before we finished have this different look to them.
I am so excited for Katie & Drew’s wedding – these two are so cute together and you can totally tell from these photos that Katie finds Drew incredibly funny. It was easy to get photos of the two of them looking all lovey dovey because they just are. I think my favourite part of the session was when I had Katie run and jump into Drew’s arms and they were arranging where they would stop and the agreement was to “meet me at the stick” which would be a good plan if they weren’t running in a field full of sticks but somehow they just knew which stick each other meant. Love is like that – a syncing of the minds and hearts that leads you down life’s path. I can’t wait to photograph the beginning of their journey as husband and wife – so without further gabbing on my part – les photos….
