It was such a beautiful blue sky day for Kirsty and Peter’s day! Which is good since their ceremony was outdoors in the rose garden. I’m so happy to have been a part of their day and had fun shooting with my girl Jessica Little. Kirsty and Peter’s family was very welcoming and SO funny but honestly the day was so much more incredibly touching than I was prepared for. The tenderness and ease between Kirsty and Peter is great but my favourite part of the day was during the ceremony Kirsty made several promises to Peter’s son about what she would bring to their family. This is was something I had seen before for younger children but with Peter’s son being older I found it even more touching – a true acknowledgement of his place in their family. We both laughed so much during the day as their families had amazing senses of humour and a true zest for life. Thank you again for having us along on your day – these images are a touch different than what I normally show but honestly I loved all the family so much I had to include more. Hope you enjoy!
I believe this is Kirsty’s Aunt but I know for sure she’s one of the family members that came all the way from Scotland and she was hilarious! So animated and this series is one of my favourites from the day – I don’t think she was prepared for the cork to go as high as it did in fact it came within a foot of my camera!
Love this little touch between these two during the speech by Kirsty’s grandmother – so sweet
So much love – it truly was touching to see all the family interact with each other
Ok I believe this is Kirsty’s grandfather and when he held the flowers I thought it was cute – before I could grab a completely candid photo he decided to work it for my camera – it made me giggle so much!
Congrats again you two and hope you enjoyed your honeymoon!
