WELCOME TO MY BRAIN…

C’est certain que mon francais ecrit n’est pas parfait – mais j’essaie et ca je trouve est assez pour la plus part des francophone. Francais est une parti d’etre Canadien pour mois et meme si c’est pas mon première langue je m’identifie comme un francophone.

(It’s true that my written french is not perfect – but I try and I find that is more than enough for most francophones that I meet. French is a part of being Canadian for me and even if it is not my first language I identify myself as a francophone.)

Why does this matter? Because JB and his entire family are french Canadian and the day was truly bilingual as Alicia speaks (as she puts it) only “un petit peux” and JB’s mother spoke only French. I felt a true kinship with them – his whole family; wonderfully warm people. Having married into the “Lachapelle” family I know a lot about French Canadians and the one thing (besides them being incredibly hard workers) I know is that they love to laugh and have great senses of humours. Watching Alicia with JB, I could see why he loved her – she makes him laugh – heck Alicia is so funny and wonderfully silly she makes everyone around her laugh. The day went by so fast and was perfectly what Alicia had described to me – mostly laughter – sprinkled with the tiniest amount of tears but most of all filled with love. Renee and I truly enjoyed your wedding day and had an awesome time off roading at your formals location.  Merci infinement pour nous avoir inclus dans votre journee!
