WELCOME TO MY BRAIN…

As she listened to her Mother speak so eloquently words of love and support tears rolled down her face but when her Mom got to the part where she knew that her Dad was proud of her and was here even while being in heaven – Amanda looked up. I can’t be sure that she wasn’t just trying to stop the tears but some part of me feels like it was a moment for just the two of them – her and her Dad in heaven – so I pressed the shutter button and captured quite literally my favourite photo. Amanda eyes to the skies above where I know her Dad was looking down right back at her – and Chris just looking at Amanda – so in love, reaching his arm over onto her back to lend his support through his tears…. just beautiful

I normally show all my photos in a linear fashion but I really wanted to share with you how touching I found Amanda & Chris’s wedding. So many little details that personalized everything but also that paid tribute to her Dad that had passed away. A wedding is a joining of two hearts as well as two families. Being at their wedding was a beautiful example of family as Chris’s family was so welcoming with Amanda and Amanda’s with Chris, never mind that Amanda’s friends truly are her family as well. Everyone came together and supported the both of them and it was simply awe inspiring. You two are incredibly lucky to have found each other and in watching you two together – no one can doubt – that’s where you belong. Rain threatened the day and it was no big deal – you both embraced it and climbed through paths with me to get truly amazing photos and I love that. More than that though – you let your guards down at every turn and showed me all of the emotions of the day without hesitation – so in turn I give you photos that show who you are. The laughing parts, the loving parts, and your families – it really was a privilege to tell your story… hope you love them as much as I do

I mean Amanda is stunning, right?

Amanda reminded so much of an old hollywood movie star

The secret is that Amanda and Chris had their first dance out in the woods – at my request – I love creating intimate situations that encourage my clients to just be present in the moment

I teared up at this moment – I’ve seen napkins waved many a time but there was something different in the faces of Amanda & Chris’s guests – so much excitement and love – the room was just vibrating from it – gave me chills…

Such a wonderful day and such an honour – thank you for choosing me
