WELCOME TO MY BRAIN…

I almost always prefer to meet with clients prior to booking but sometimes their too far away and it makes it difficult to do that and then sometimes you have a situation like with Amy and Chris – unfortunately at the wedding the weekend before I came down off the curb while taking a sip of my sunny d  and WHAM the sunny d bottle scraped against my tooth really hard and somehow cracked a piece off one of my front teeth and after working the wedding looking severely gap toothed I went in for dental surgery right away. In fact, I was able to get in last minute and because of the sedation there is no way in the world I would have been lucid for our scheduled meeting. So my lovely husband met with them and showed them around – I guess Bryan did a great job because they decided to hire me. Fast forward to the engagement session and I am tentatively looking around the parking lot trying to figure out who they were and finally found them up by the building. We had a great hike to the ruins and upper falls and it was great to finally get a chance to get to know them. It was an easy afternoon and the two of them are great together – I won’t lie though I’m kinda thinking Amy is my favourite purely because she’s a Harry Potter fan – sorry Chris! In any case I am going to share some photos below but I’d also like to share a part of Amy’s email because it was so sweet …

Oh my goodness…

I’m emailing you so that my voice doesn’t end up all high-pitched which is likely to happen if I called and left a message on your answering machine right now. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

You did such an amazing job with our engagement photos – I just love them. I can’t stop looking at them…seriously. 🙂

When I got Heather’s email late last night I practically flew up the stairs to tell Chris they were ready to be picked up much earlier than we expected.

Thank you from both of us for doing such a fantastic job and for getting them ready for us so quickly. I absolutely love the variety and the way you were able to play with the light. We don’t have many photos of us together and that just makes these even more special. Thank you for an amazing day and for memories and images that we will have forever! I’m off to look at them some more!

Thanks again for a great time guys – here’s a little teaser, albeit some months later but I’m excited for your wedding coming up next weekend!

Wishing you friendship and love,

Amanda
