Quite often I like to post status updates on my facebook page to kind of countdown towards my upcoming weddings. I get so excited to see these relationships culminate and grow leading up the wedding day and it just hits home for me what an honour it is to be a part of such an important day. I want my couples to know that I am super excited both for them and to experience their days. When I met Candice and Graeme I could tell as plain as day these two were head over heels in love – like all great love stories there is always a basis in friendship but how sweet these two are together is like a fairytale romance. How appropriate that Candice’s status on the day of the wedding mentioned “marrying her Prince Charming” – it certainly looked like something right out of a storybook; a beautiful day, gorgeous Bride, handsome Groom surrounded by friends and family – excited and happy for them. If you looked closer though – there was so much more. These two are more than just a fairytale – both intelligent and well spoken their wedding really was about them as a couple and on the day focused on enjoying each other and being happy to have reached their fairytale ending. It was great to be a part of it and photographing them was incredibly easy – as the smiles, the love and laugher shared in the photos is exactly what was happening on the day. Thanks again to both of you and your families for your welcoming spirits, for understanding about my pregnancy and for treating us like part of the family. I also want to give a special shout out to Sam & Morgan – these two helped me out immensely by covering the reception so I could go home and get off my feet. With the end of my pregnancy approaching I’m just trying to keep the little guy in my belly a little longer! Oh and I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my own Price Charming – Bryan you are an incredible husband for coming along and carrying the bags and my camera. I remember just over 6 years ago when I married my own Price Charming and I love spending wedding days looking into his eyes and remembering what she shared on that day. Ok enough chatter! On to the photos….
