I was hoping to have this post up before I left for vacation last week but it was pretty crazy around here and the internet connection was terrible at the cottage. Nevertheless I am excited to post them as this session is the culmination of years of hard work. The beginning of my career as a photographer was started by shooting friends and family for free and when I moved beyond that I created a group on facebook searching for people willing to model for me in exchange for a small fee and they would get the images on a disk. I found that I met some really great people and it gave me a chance to understand how to work with all kinds of clients. Some appreciated what I did and have back over and over again – despite the obvious price difference – and have been some of my most loyal clients. Danielle is one of these people – I have enjoyed photographing her now several times and was overjoyed when her and John came to me to photograph their wedding. These two are so silly and full of laughter and I am very excited at the thought that I got to start my journey with Danielle and then get to be there on her wedding day this fall. We had a great time wandering around some pretty places in Jordan and even happened upon a pretty amazing outdoor wine event (private of course so we couldn’t partake but it made for pretty lights in the background). Thanks again you two for a fun time and your patience in waiting for these – now on to the photos!
