Little Sam recently turned 1 and it was so great to get to meet this little family – friends of a previous Bride and Groom of mine; Kasia & Dan met me at a local park and we spent some time with Sam and their doggy Gus. Watching Sam, I was reminded of Nate when he was that age – new found footing – exploring the world on tiptoes – but running full blast with no sense of balance. It takes us all a different amount of time to reach certain milestones throughout our life but the joy in parenting is watching each of our children’s individual path. Sam is such a vibrant and joyful child – full of giggles and love for his best buddy; Gus and of course lots of cuddles for Mom and Dad. It was so nice to rewind back to this age with this family and capture Sam as he is at this point in life. The many coming months and years will bring changes but hopefully these photos help them remember the little things about him right now.
