What a day, what a couple and what a family! I mean this wedding was just so much fun – Jared and Cailyn love to laugh and to be surrounded by friends and family and their friends and family are just as much fun as they are. Their day was beautiful, heartfelt and a true realization of prayers answered. With the biggest wedding party I’ve ever photographed you would expect things to be chaotic but nope – everyone was not just up for fun but they listened awesomely and everything went so smooth! Jared and Cailyn are two of the sweetest people – I just enjoyed their day so much. One of the things that really stood out to me is their families and their deep roots in their faith. I saw this beautiful moment between their Mom’s where they were hugging with just so much joy and love on their faces and I snapped a photo – they laughed at me and I just told them I thought it was beautiful that they got along so well and that I hoped that my sons would choose women that had families we would love the same way. I can’t remember which one said it but one of their Mom’s (i think it was Jared’s Mom)said something to me that has stuck with me ever since; she said “Pray, get on your knees girl and pray every night for God to bring you the right women for them”. It struck me that their happiness wasn’t just for their children but for prayers answered – it was a reminder that God is good and listens to our prayers. Their families  also gave incredibly touching (and of course funny) speeches. My favourite part was how we ended the evening; a presentation of a bible by both parents and a room full of hearts praying for them.
