Hello All,

I am desperately behind on my blog posts but I just had to post today to show a little love for ALP’s own Sami – I think I posted a little something about this but just in case you haven’t seen it, our long time assistant photographer Samantha has now made the jump to associate photographer. This means she now takes on her own weddings on behalf of our company and so far the client response has been great! There are a few more posts of engagement sessions that I have to put up but I thought I’d start everything off with yesterday’s wedding that she shot at Riverbend. Sam & Gabrielle did such a wonderful job and I am so thankful to have her as a part of our company. She will be posting all her own blog posts but for this first one I wanted to write real quick and introduce you to what I am sure will be the first of many posts from her. Now here is the day in her own words…

“Lauren and Craig wed yesterday on the beautiful grounds at Riverbend Inn & Winery. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they said their vows overlooking the gorgeous vineyard.

They decided to do a first look to give themselves time between the ceremony and reception to spend time with their families–some of whom had traveled from around the world to be there for them. The heat of the day couldn’t put a damper on anything as we shot their photos just outside the main building, and taking breaks inside to cool down.

The short ceremony was followed by a group photo to fit all 100 of their guests in, then some mingling by the two families. Lauren and Craig were blessed with speeches by her sisters, his cousin/best man, her MOH, his father and her father, all of whom along with the MC (her friend from Australia) had everyone laughing.

The beautiful day ended with a gorgeous sunset and some twilight dancing.
