WELCOME TO MY BRAIN…

We spent two hours on the phone and I was crossing my fingers and toes that they would book me. After speaking with Myda I was incredibly anxious to shoot their wedding – it wasn’t just that I wanted to – it was that I needed to. They wanted mostly candid coverage – real moments of them with their families. They wanted their wedding to be beautiful for sure but they wanted it to be mostly about family. As her sister mentioned in her speech – Myda never wanted a wedding – not because she didn’t love Raffi or didn’t want to be married to him – she just didn’t want this day that was about things where she was expected to be the centre of attention. For love and for family they went ahead reluctantly and their wedding was perfect – so much love – and SO much dancing! It’s easy to see how these two have found each other, a shared love and respect of their shared cultures, it is truly a match made in heaven. Raffi is easy going – quick to laugh and a perfect foil to Myda’s quiet elegance and they truly bring out the best in each other. It was truly a privilege to capture your wedding day – thank you to both of you for being more open and letting my camera see you as you are. This was my first Armenian wedding and I truly enjoyed every moment. I hope you love your photos as much as I enjoyed being a part of your wedding day 🙂001002003004005006007008009010011012013014015016017018019020021022023024025026027028029030031032033034035036037038039040041042043044045046047048049050051052053054055056

When Myda explained to me that part of the entrance was dancing for about 20-30 mins at the beginning of the reception I was thrilled – everyone got up and was so happy and the smiles on everyone’s faces just shone the sheer joy they had for these two.
