Yes this is only part 1! What happens when two amazing and in love people let you and your husband into their hearts – homes and families and share not one but three of the most important days of their lives ? Bryan and I can’t say enough about this past weekends experience – Neetu – Adam and both of their families were beyond warm and welcoming and well Adam I can’t normally get my husband out on the dance floor so I’m not sure how you did it! There are so many photos from their wedding and even though they are both very private people they have consented for a few photos to make an appearance on the blog. Thanks again to you both and can’t wait to have everything ready for you!
PS – (List of things I love about these two is long and will be saved for part 2)
PPS – Bryan and I got to work with the talented and very personable wedding planner Jodi Gagné of Simply Perfect http://simply-perfect.ca/ – Jodi is awesome and kicks butt at making sure everything runs on time and is an all around nice person who has a very similar attitude about client relationships a few photos of Jodi in action as well as more information about her is to come in a future blog post as she deserves one all on her own 🙂
Enjoy a few photos!
These are the bracelets presented to Neetu during one of the ceremonies – they are to be worn for 30 days and I believe that is just the revised custom – someone at the reception said that previously it was custom to wear them for a full year
I literally can’t tell you how moving this ceremony was – different family members took turns holding the scarf over them and also turns sitting next to them and gifts were given. I didn’t understand much of the symbolism in everything that was done but what I did understand was the love clearly evident in not only Neetu and Adam’s face but in the family members that took turns joining them. This moment was just one captured amongst the changing of people sitting next to them and just after the mendhi and the look on their faces say it all.
This is a new purchase for Neetu and Adam and of course demanded that some photos were taken in front of it!
I end this post with a photo of Adam’s father who was also his best man – this was taken during a speech by Adam and Neetu and while listening to his son’s heartfelt thanks you can see the emotion on his father’s face. Every inch of Neetu and Adam’s day was well thought out with love and devotion to each other and their families – Thanks again to the both of you!
