Being a photographer a part of a wedding day can be so many things; emotional, full of laughter, fun and a true honour. Saturday was all of those things and more. Samantha & Brad’s wedding was easy going and beautiful – we had a great time with the bridal party (especially some of the rambunctious groomsmen – but more on that later) and the bride and groom truly made it easy – which was good since we had only about 15 minutes to do their portraits! Chateau des Charmes is truly a beautiful location and the lighting at the outdoor ceremony was some of my favourite in a long time. Thanks again to these two for being so awesome and including us in their day!
Now this last photo is a tribute – I told you I’d tell you more about our rambunctious groomsmen later – these guys were cracking jokes and being silly all day. I like to tease my clients normally but that wasn’t necessary this time around – these guys had all of it covered. They were holding hands and hugging each other as well hamming it up for the camera. I gave one of them a hard time for calling me Mandy (yep it’s Amanda – never the short version) but honestly these guys were a ton of fun and one even gentlemen enough to get something to drink for Precious and I – thanks for making the day interesting boys!
Thanks to Precious as well for coming along and helping me with this wedding – it’s not easy being pregnant and shooting and between Precious and Sam we are pretty well covered for the year!
