While I was working my own wedding Samantha was out shooting Shauna and Dave’s wedding and I kept getting texts during breaks from Sam to keep me updated as to how the day was going. “Great light outside – their really sweet together…” and then later on at night “wow these guys really know how to party!” Apparently, everyone was out on the dance floor and having a great time “Gangnam Style”. Although it sounds simple to break the day down to those three things – it really seems to sum it up when I looked through the photos to find images for their teasers. Shauna’s pretty dress aglow by the window, a tender moment between her and her mother, Dave looking dapper on the couch and a few tears with his mother, tender moments between the bride and groom and lots of laughter in between – the whole day radiates with tenderness. Although I couldn’t be there to experience your day, I find myself smiling at certain moments captured and (especially the weird faces by the ladies in the school house – didn’t include that photo in the teaser but would love to hear the story behind it) laughing at how fun this wedding party must have been. So sad that I cannot clone myself to be in two places at once but still happy that Samantha (and Precious) did such an awesome job capturing everything for you. Now on to the photos!
