Suzanne, Derek and I had originally gone out to do their engagement photos in the dead of winter – armed with my long johns we traipsed around in the snow and -17 weather at Balls Falls. What a lovely treat (maybe) that their wedding day was once again at Balls Falls but this time the weather was much warmer (like we were trying not to melt into puddles) – once again these two were troopers and it was truly a lovely wedding. When I have a meeting with someone sometimes it is easy to see who they are but then sometimes clients are a little more reserved inevitably though on the wedding day, surrounded by family; there is nowhere to hide. Nevermore was this true for me than with Suzanne and Derek – to be sure that they were nice when we met and I picked up a little on Derek’s sarcasm but to see them on their wedding day was another layer. Both have great (and fun!) friends and family that are supportive but it isn’t just because they are friends and family but it’s because they are supportive and their for them too – it was especially beautiful to see Suzanne relationship with her niece. Every part of this day was relaxed and easy which made getting these beautiful images effortless – hope you enjoy….
