The day Tracy walked into my office I just new that I would end up shooting her wedding. Sometimes connections with clients are instantaneous – we had talked on the phone before meeting and I had a good feeling but these two were super awesome in person and I was so excited. When they let us know that we were a go for their wedding next year in July we began to discuss the engagement photos. Wanting photos for announcements and save the dates Tracy and Rob opted to do them this summer and we started talking locations. I’ve wanted to do photos at a waterfall for awhile and when I mentioned that these two were totally on board. I didn’t really think of the hike down Beamer Falls when I planned for it – being 6 months pregnant and all it was actually a lot easier than I thought because these two were always there to help with a hand or to hold my bag. I loved that they were willing to climb the falls or put their feet in the water – and they totally braved the bugs – I think the mosquitoes looked at us like an all you can eat buffet. It turned out to be worth it and I really love the images we came up with – here are a few from their session at the falls and at the experimental gardens.
Working in midday sun was a little more difficult than I had imagined but I love the light
that’s pouring in here
Loved the way her one foot popped while they were kissing on the rock
They make one gorgeous couple!
Can’t wait til next year guys! As a side note – thanks to both Tracy and Rob who dropped a gift when picking up their engagement photos – I love the pajamas and Bryan won’t stop playing with the little bug! I am truly blessed with such thoughtful clients.
Wishing you friendship and love,
Amanda
